Maruti Suzuki introduces Quickstop service, bringing on-site convenience
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched 'Quickstop', a compact, on-site service format designed to deliver faster, more convenient vehicle maintenance by bringing essential servicing directly to high-density urban locations.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has unveiled ‘Quickstop’, a compact and prefabricated service solution aimed at redefining vehicle maintenance convenience in urban, high-density environments. Designed for rapid deployment and minimal space utilisation, the new format reflects the company’s push to integrate servicing seamlessly into customers’ daily routines.
Developed using a modified container setup, Quickstop facilities are equipped with essential tools and equipment to handle routine maintenance and minor repair work efficiently. These service touchpoints are strategically positioned at high-vehicle-density locations such as corporate campuses, airport zones and fleet hubs, enabling customers to access authorised service without disrupting their schedules.
The initiative is particularly relevant for office-goers and fleet operators. Customers can drop off their vehicles at these on-site facilities during work hours and pick them up once serviced, while fleet owners benefit from reduced downtime—an essential factor in improving operational efficiency and earnings.
Speaking on the launch, Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, highlighted the growing need for accessible and time-saving service solutions. He noted that Quickstop is designed to meet the demands of increasingly busy lifestyles by bringing service infrastructure closer to where customers spend most of their time.
In its pilot phase, Maruti Suzuki has already set up 10 Quickstop facilities across key cities including Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Bagdogra, Calicut and Surat. The company plans to evaluate customer response and scalability as it expands the footprint of this new service model.
Quickstop facilities are operated by Maruti Suzuki’s dealer partners, while space is provided by corporate entities or fleet operators. This collaborative approach ensures faster rollout and cost efficiency, making the format highly scalable.
Additionally, the company has incorporated eco-friendly practices into the Quickstop concept. These include waterless car washing and the use of battery-powered equipment, aligning with broader sustainability goals while reducing resource consumption.
With Quickstop, Maruti Suzuki aims to shift the paradigm of vehicle servicing, from a time-consuming task to a convenient, integrated experience, ensuring that servicing adapts to the customer’s lifestyle, rather than the other way around.
