Mad rush on Delhi streets as water crisis deepens, tankers fail to quench thirst

The water crisis has become too real to ignore in Delhi as people across areas were seen scrambling with empty buckets to water tankers, some even jumping the queue to fill their vessel.

Several areas in Delhi, including Chanakyapuri's Sanjay Camp area and the Geeta colony area are among those facing acute water shortages.

The water crisis comes at a time when the maximum temperature in the national capital is inching 52 degrees Celsius mark.
