The case came to light after Rohit was found in suspicious circumstances at a hospital. Initially, investigators treated the matter as an accident or an unnatural death. However, a deeper probe revealed evidence of murder, following which police registered a case and launched further action.
According to police, Rohit was attending a party with his acquaintances in a room when an argument broke out over a money transaction. The accused, identified as Milan, Pintu, Meet and another associate, lived in the same area and shared a close friendship with Rohit. They had invited him to the gathering.
During the party, the dispute over money escalated into a physical assault. Police said the confrontation turned violent, leaving Rohit seriously injured.
After the incident, the accused took Rohit to a hospital. However, they fled the hospital after he died during treatment.
Based on medical reports and other evidence, police concluded that the case was a murder. Investigators identified all four accused and arrested them. Police have registered a murder case and are continuing further action in the matter.
