A man has been arrested in Mumbai for allegedly killing his four-year-old son after losing his temper when the child repeatedly asked for milk. The incident took place around 5 am on Thursday in the Gautam Nagar area of Powai.
According to police officials, the accused, Rajesh Singh (26), became enraged when his son, Yash, started crying for milk. He allegedly assaulted the child and slammed him against a door, causing fatal injuries.
Police said Singh was addicted to alcohol, while his wife worked in households to support the family. She had gone to her parents' home a fortnight ago. Yash, the couple's only son, was a special needs child. At the time of the incident, only the father and son were present in the house.

According to investigators, Singh went to his sister's house after the incident and told her that he had beaten his son. Alarmed by the revelation, she rushed to the house and later approached the Powai Police Station to report the matter.
