Recently, US President Joe Biden ordered the US intelligence agencies to redouble their efforts in investigating the emergence of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic and report back to him in 90 days, amid growing controversy about the virus's origins from a bio laboratory in China.
China has currently blocked the international media from reaching the mine to see the surroundings, news agency PTI quoted a report as saying. Earlier on Wednesday, China had parried a question on whether it would allow an independent probe into allegations that the Covid-19 virus may have been leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, while its researchers claimed that the coronavirus may have been transmitted to humans from pangolins.
