The board said its teams are continuously monitoring the portal to ensure that the platform remains secure, reliable and student-friendly for all candidates using the post-result services.
As thousands of Class 12 students continue applying for verification and re-evaluation of their answer books, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a clarification regarding the online payment process.
In a post shared on X, the board said students do not need to hold accounts with the banks whose payment gateways appear on the verification and re-evaluation portal.
The clarification comes amid queries from candidates regarding payment options available during the application process.
MANY PATHS TO PAYMENT
According to CBSE, payment gateways of State Bank of India, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda and Indian Bank are currently available on the portal.
CBSE wrote, "Students need not have an account with these banks to complete payment but can use any of these payment gateways to make payments."
Candidates are also free to choose from multiple online payment modes, including UPI, net banking, credit cards and debit cards.
The clarification is aimed at ensuring that students do not face confusion while completing their applications and making the required payments online.
NUMBERS TELL THE STORY
CBSE also shared fresh figures to underline that the system is functioning smoothly.
According to the board, nearly 40,000 students had successfully availed the verification and re-evaluation facility and completed the application process by 9:30 am.
The update comes at a time when the board's post-result activities have been under close watch from students and parents, especially following discussions around answer-sheet access, verification requests and re-evaluation procedures.

In its post, CBSE urged students to rely only on official communications released by the board for accurate information regarding post-result processes.
The board reiterated that the application system remains operational and that candidates should follow instructions available on official CBSE platforms while completing verification and re-evaluation formalities.
