The NEET UG 2026 re-test is scheduled to be conducted on June 21 after the original examination held on May 3 was cancelled amid allegations of irregularities. The examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode at multiple centres across India and overseas.

SCRIBE DETAILS PORTAL NOW LIVE

NTA has launched a dedicated portal to facilitate eligible PwD/PwBD candidates who require assistance from a scribe during the examination. Candidates are advised to complete the registration process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

HOW TO REGISTER SCRIBE DETAILS

Eligible PwD/PwBD candidates can submit their scribe details by logging in to the official NEET website using their registered credentials. After accessing the candidate dashboard, they need to click on the “Register Scribe Details” option, which is available only to eligible candidates.

They can then select the scribe facility, enter the required information, and submit the details.

Once the process is completed, the submitted information will be reflected in the “View Application Form” section for verification.

According to the official notification issued by NTA:

  • Portal opening date: June 9, 2026
  • Last date to submit scribe details: June 12, 2026, till 11:50 pm

CITY INTIMATION SLIP RELEASED

Meanwhile, NTA has also released the NEET UG 2026 City Intimation Slip, enabling candidates to check the city where their examination centre has been allotted. The slip has been issued ahead of the admit card to help students make necessary travel and accommodation arrangements in advance.

Candidates can download the city intimation slip by logging into the official portal using their application number and password.

CITY INTIMATION SLIP IS NOT THE ADMIT CARD

NTA has clarified that the city intimation slip is meant solely to inform candidates about their allotted examination city. It should not be treated as the admit card. The official hall ticket for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be released separately in the coming days.

With the NEET UG 2026 re-exam approaching, NTA has urged eligible PwD/PwBD candidates to complete their scribe registration within the prescribed timeline. Candidates are also advised to regularly monitor the official website for updates regarding admit cards, examination guidelines, and other important announcements ahead of the June 21 re-test.
