Morshi Assembly Constituency

Morshi is one of the 288 assembly constituencies in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is located in the Amravati district and is one of the eight assembly constituencies in the region. Morshi is the second largest town in the Amravati district. It is a part of the Morshi-Warud Vidhan Sabha constituency, which falls under the Wardha Lok Sabha constituency. This Lok Sabha constituency also includes the assembly segments of Wardha, Arvi, Deoli, and Hinganghat in the Wardha district, along with Dhamangaon Railway in the Amravati district.

According to the 2011 census, the estimated population of Morshi was 37,333, comprising 19,031 males and 18,302 females. The Scheduled Caste (SC) population accounts for 9.67% of the total population, while the Scheduled Tribe (ST) population is 5.24%. The literacy rate in Morshi city is 90.60%, with male literacy at approximately 93.46% and female literacy at 87.61%.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, the Varud-Morshi seat was won by Devendra Bhuyar of the Swabhimani Paksha (SWP).
