Paranda Assembly Constituency

The Paranda constituency is located in Osmanabad district and is one of the four Assembly segments within the district. The Paranda constituency encompasses the entire tehsils of Paranda, Bhoom, and Washi.

In 2009, the number of registered voters in the constituency was 268,195. Paranda is part of the Osmanabad Lok Sabha constituency, along with five other Assembly segments. The constituency is known for the Paranda Fort and is home to several mosques and temples, reflecting its cultural heritage. According to the 2001 Census, Paranda town had a population of 16,987.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Tanaji Sawant from the Shiv Sena (SHS) won the Assembly seat.
