In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, BJP's Madhuri Misal retained the seat, securing 97,012 votes. Her closest competitor was Ashwini Kadam from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), who garnered 60,245 votes. Madhuri Misal also won from the Parvati Assembly constituency in the 2014 elections.
