PM Modi's big vikas push in South ahead of 2024 Lok Sabha polls

With an eye on the South ahead of 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Prime Minister Modi today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 20,000 crore in Tamil Nadu. 

The Prime Minister also inaugurated the new terminal of Trichy Airport. Meanwhile, the PM said that he was deeply moved by the flood plight of Tamil Nadu, adding that the government stands with the people of the state. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin urged the Prime Minister to announce the recent devastating torrential rain as a severe national calamity and provide relief.
