Meanwhile, the PM said that he was deeply moved by the flood plight of Tamil Nadu, adding that the government stands with the people of the state. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin urged the Prime Minister to announce the recent devastating torrential rain as a severe national calamity and provide relief.
