About Assi

Anubhav Sinha’s investigative courtroom drama presents a gripping and unsettling exploration of a complex legal battle. The trailer showcases Taapsee Pannu in a fierce and determined role as a lawyer who refuses to back down in her pursuit of justice.

At the heart of the narrative is Kani Kusruti, whose emotionally charged character drives the story forward, while the case unfolds through layers of social and systemic truth. The trailer opens on a tense note, setting the stage for a fast-paced investigative journey that exposes disturbing realities and challenges moral boundaries.

More than a conventional courtroom clash, the film raises difficult questions about accountability, justice, and the kind of society being shaped for future generations.

The ensemble cast also includes Revathy, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. The film further features special appearances by Naseeruddin Shah, Supriya Pathak, and Seema Pahwa.
