Emily in Paris to end with Season 6, filming begins in Greece
Netflix has confirmed that Emily in Paris will end with its sixth season. The shoot for the season finale has begun in Greece.
After five seasons of romance, fashion and chaotic work meetings in Europe, Emily in Paris is preparing to say goodbye. Netflix announced on Thursday that the popular series will end with its sixth season, which is currently in production in Greece.
Led by Lily Collins, the show follows Emily Cooper, a Chicago-based marketing executive whose move to Paris turns into a whirlwind journey of career challenges, friendships and complicated love stories across Europe.
Series creator Darren Star reflected on the show’s run in a statement and called the experience “the trip of a lifetime.”
Collins also shared a message for fans through a video released by Netflix.

“Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime. As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and, most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us,” he said.
He added, “We can’t wait to share this last chapter with you. Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives, inspiring your dreams of travel and your love of Paris. We will always have Emily in Paris.”
“Season 6 will bring you everything you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily’s adventure of a lifetime,” she said. “Our entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season, which we’re now filming.”

Produced by Paramount Television Studios, Darren Star Productions and Jax Media, the series has remained one of Netflix’s biggest global titles. Across its first five seasons, Emily in Paris spent a combined 32 weeks in Netflix’s Global Top 10 English-language TV chart and reached the number one spot in 90 countries.
The announcement also comes just days after Netflix confirmed that The Lincoln Lawyer would conclude with its upcoming fifth season, marking another major farewell for the streamer.
