Maa Behen: Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri's crime comedy releases on Netflix in June
Netflix has set June 4 as the premiere date for Maa Behen, starring Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, Dharna Durgaa and Ravi Kishan. The crime comedy follows a mother and her two daughters as they scramble to hide a dead body and protect their secret.
The makers of Maa Behen locked in its release date with a quirky twist. On Madhuri Dixit’s 59th birthday, the team announced that the crime comedy will begin streaming on Netflix from June 4.
Headlined by Madhuri Dixit, the film also features Triptii Dimri, Dharna Durgaa and Ravi Kishan in key roles. The ensemble cast includes Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh and Shardul Bhardwaj.
"The most awaited kaand is coming, for mothers, sisters and the entire fam Maa Behen, coming soon, only on Netflix (sic)," read the Instagram post shared by Netflix India on May 14.

About Maa Behen
At the centre of the story is Rekha (played by Madhuri Dixit), a mother already juggling life’s everyday chaos when things spiral after a dead body lands up in her kitchen. What follows is a frantic cover-up involving her two daughters – Jaya (Triptii Dimri), the responsible one, and Sushma (Dharna Durga), the unpredictable wild card – as they attempt to stay one step ahead of suspicion.
Between quick thinking, faster lies and nosy neighbours, the trio must navigate a situation that keeps slipping out of control.
Maa Behen is produced by Abundantia Entertainment in association with Opening Image Films. The film is directed by Suresh Triveni, known for Tumhari Sulu and Jalsa, and brings his signature blend of humour and emotional nuance to the genre.
