A viral social media post has fuelled speculation around India's Got Latent Season 2, with an insider claiming that Alia Bhatt and Sharvari appeared as special guests during the shoot of the first episode. The post also suggested that comedian Samay Raina appeared “super nervous” while opening the show before easing into his usual comic rhythm.
Instagram user Roshan Sahu claimed he was among the 80-member audience that attended the live taping of the episode.
Sharing his experience from the set, Sahu said in a video, “I was among the 80 people who attended this episode live, and the show was terrific.” He added that he had booked tickets mainly to watch Raina perform live.
Recalling the comedian’s opening act, he said, “During the first 15 minutes of the show, when Samay was performing alone and recalling the incidents of season one, he looked super nervous. But as the panel joined, he was in his full zone. The whole show was as hilarious as season one.”
According to him, Bhatt and Sharvari joined the episode as guests, reportedly to promote their upcoming film Alpha. While there has been no official confirmation from the makers or the actor, the claim quickly gained traction online after a photo from the alleged shoot surfaced on social media.

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's Alpha is being positioned as the first female-led instalment in the YRF Spy Universe. It also features Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol and is scheduled to release in theatres on July 10, 2026.
Meanwhile, Raina recently confirmed the return of India’s Got Latent during his Still Alive performance. Addressing fans asking about the show’s comeback, he said, “People keep asking me whether the show will return. I will bring the show back. I want to do a wild show.”
He further added that he believed the first season had ended at its peak. “I don’t think season one of my show could have ended at a higher point,” he said.
The official premiere date of Latent Season 2 is yet to be announced.
