System trailer: Sonakshi Sinha, Jyotika team up for high-stakes legal fight

The trailer of the upcoming courtroom drama System has been unveiled, offering a gripping look at a legal battle where power, ambition, and justice collide. Starring Sonakshi Sinha, Jyotika, and Ashutosh Gowariker, the film promises intense courtroom confrontations and emotional conflicts.

The trailer opens with Neha, played by Sonakshi Sinha, a determined young lawyer trying to prove herself worthy of becoming a partner at her father’s law firm. Her father, portrayed by Ashutosh Gowariker, challenges her to take on a difficult case. To strengthen her fight, Neha brings in Sarika, a sharp and street-smart courtroom stenographer played by Jyotika, who seems to be carrying hidden motives of her own.

A striking dialogue from the trailer - “Ameeri ke shor mein gareeb ki awaaz kho jaati hai (In the noise of wealth, the voice of the poor gets lost)” - highlights the film’s central theme of inequality and the fight for justice in a flawed system.

Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, System explores themes of ambition, revenge, morality, and the pursuit of justice. The film has been produced by Pammi Baweja, Harman Baweja, and Smitha Baliga.

The screenplay has been written by Harman Baweja, Arun Sukumar, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Tasneem Lokhandwala, and Akshat Ghildial. Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Preeti Agarwal, Addinath Kothare, Aashriya Mishra, Gaurav Pandey, and Sayandeep Sengupta in key roles.

System is set to premiere on Prime Video in Hindi on May 22.
