The actor revealed that crying helps her release anxiety, as she continues her recovery with regular monitoring and upcoming immunotherapy.

She said, “Ghabra rahi thi main. Main royi bhi; machine mein jaane se pehle bhi royi, aur machine mein bhi royi. Kabhi kabhi rona bohot help karta hain kyuki aapki anxiety nikal jaati hain. Mere liye toh bohot help karti hain (I was worried. I cried before entering the machine, while entering it. Crying really helps in taking out the anxiety). I think you come out stronger, so for me it works."

Shoaib added that this was the first time she completed the scan in one go and expressed hope that everything would be fine.

Discussing the results, Shoaib revealed, “MRI mein do chote-chote dots nikle hain iske (Two small dots have appeared in the MRI)."

Dipika explained that the spots were very small and did not require immediate treatment but needed to be closely monitored, adding that close scans would continue so that if the issue reappears, it can be treated immediately.

Shoaib further shared that Dipika will begin immunotherapy from this week.

The couple also shared a glimpse of their personal life, mentioning that their busy schedule has kept them away from spending enough time with their son, Ruhaan.

Shoaib also surprised Dipika with a pair of sunglasses after the scan, bringing a small moment of joy amid the stress.

Dipika has been battling stage 2 liver cancer and recently underwent surgery for a stomach cyst on February 23. She also had a tumour removed in June 2025 as part of her treatment.

Over the past few months, Dipika has been documenting her journey on YouTube, sharing updates from chemotherapy sessions to the emotional challenges of recovery.

She is best known for playing Simar Bhardwaj in Sasural Simar Ka and has also appeared in shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8, Nach Baliye 8, and Bigg Boss 12, which she won. Most recently, she was seen on Celebrity MasterChef, which she had to leave due to health issues.
