KKK 15: Farrhana, Harsh Gujral confirmed; Gaurav, Samarth in talks | Exclusive
Farrhana Bhatt and Harsh Gujral have been confirmed as participants in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna and Laughter Chefs contestant Samarth Jurel are also in talks to participate in the reality show.
Adventure-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi is all set to be back on the television screen after skipping a year. And the makers are aiming to make it a bigger and better season with the best of contestants and stunts. India Today has exclusively learnt that the team is already in the process of locking in celebrities who will get to test their adrenaline on the Rohit Shetty-hosted show.
The first name confirmed by the makers is Bigg Boss 19 runner-up, Farrhana Bhatt. The actor from Kashmir had shown an interest towards participating in the reality show while in the Bigg Boss house. The second confirmed contestant is comedian Harsh Gujral, who was one of the finalists on The Traitors Season 1.
"This season, the makers are eyeing to get a mix of contestants from various fields. They want the season to be really fun, and are approaching popular celebs, who also have a connect with the youth. There are already a few who are in the final stages of discussion in terms of remuneration, and the makers will announce the confirmed list soon," the source added.
On the other hand, Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna and Laughter Chefs contestant Samarth Jurel are also in talks to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. As per reports, TV actors Pranali Rathod, Falaq Naaz, Abhishek Bajaj and Isha Malviya have also been approached for the show.
Filmmaker and host of the show, Rohit Shetty, had first confirmed the new season in November last year when he appeared on Bigg Boss Weekend Ka Vaar. At the time, he reassured fans that the stunt-based reality show would indeed return after a gap. “The audience was upset that we couldn’t bring a season this year, but next year the show is returning," Shetty said, while addressing the audience’s disappointment.
Earlier this year, Colors TV also made it official by sharing a striking AI-generated promo, announcing the show's comeback. Apart from TV, the season will also stream on JioHotstar. While the shoot will reportedly begin at the end of next month, the season will go live only by mid-June or July.
