Actor Shalin Bhanot has strongly denied rumours suggesting that he is planning to remarry his former wife, Dalljiet Kaur, and has threatened legal action against a paparazzi page that shared the claim online.

The controversy began after Shalin attended the screening of Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga. Shortly afterwards, a paparazzi account posted a video of the actor and claimed that he had decided to marry his first wife again. The post quickly gained traction on social media, sparking speculation among fans. However, Shalin wasted no time in shutting down the reports and demanding their removal.

What Did Shalin Bhanot Say About The Viral Claim?

Responding directly in the comments section of the post, Shalin called the report “absolutely FALSE” and accused the page of spreading fabricated information about his personal life.

“This is absolutely FALSE and completely fabricated news. As a media page, you have a professional responsibility to verify facts before spreading absolute lies about someone’s personal life just for views,” he wrote.

The actor further demanded that the post be deleted immediately and asked the page to issue a public apology. He also warned that failure to comply could result in strict legal action against both the page and its company.

What Is Shalin And Dalljiet Kaur’s History?

Shalin Bhanot and Dalljiet Kaur met while working on the television show Kulvaddhu and married in 2009. The former couple welcomed their son, Jaydon, in 2014.

Their relationship later faced difficulties, leading to a separation and eventual divorce in 2015. The split attracted significant media attention and was followed by a prolonged legal dispute. In 2023, Dalljiet married Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel, but announced their separation in 2024.

Despite the latest speculation, Shalin has categorically denied any plans of remarrying Dalljiet and has demanded an apology over the viral claim.
