Telangana tunnel collapse: Rat-hole miners join rescue operations

Six rat-hole miners have reached the rescue operation site in Nagarkurnool to join the rescue operation to save eight trapped workers inside the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel. While six more rat-hole miners will join the rescue operations later Tuesday. 

Meanwhile, Nagarkurnool District Collector B Santosh said that two rescue teams of the Army as well as the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) were deploying machinery to cover the final 40 m to the people feared trapped after a tunnel roof collapse on Saturday.
