BJP-Congress battle heats up during Amit Shah's temple run in poll-bound Karnataka

According to his tour plan, Amit Shah is expected to visit prominent temples in the region and hold political meetings at Mangaluru, Bantwal, Puttur and Sullia where he will address large numbers of youngsters.

However, it is his visits to two dead alleged BJP activists' homes that has raised many eyebrows.

Amit Shah will particularly meet the family members of Paresh Meshta who died in December 2017 and also the family members of Deepak Rao who died in January this year.

Political analysts believe that it is these meetings that will truly kick-start the BJP campaign in Karnataka.
