Congress hits back at Modi, Shah over Hindu terror term

Political parties have stepped up their efforts to galvanise votes for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

The Congress on Monday (April 1) hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah for blaming that Congress party coined the term 'Hindu Terror'.

Making an apparent reference to senior BJP leader RK Singh, who was then a Union Home Secretary, Congress spokesman Manish Tewari said, “PM Modi is clearly lying about the issue. The term 'Hindu Terror' was coined by a BJP member.”

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders.
