Conspiracy to defame our movement: Farmer leader Baldev Singh Sirsa

The protest by furious farmers against India's new far laws has now entered 16th day. The Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) has moved Supreme Court challenging the three farm reform laws passed by the Parliament recently that are now at the Centre of the massive protests.

In an exclusive interview to India Today TV, farmer leader Baldev Singh Sirsa spoke over the allegation of 'tukde tukde gang' overtaking farmers' agitation. "It is a conspiracy to defame our movement," Sirsa told India Today. For more, watch the full video.

Video: Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM amid loud cheers and chants

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony.
