I am not a free person, I am under detention: Congress leader Saifuddin Soz

Refuting Jammu and Kashmir's govt's claim that he is a free person, senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Saifuddin Soz today said that he is not a free person and is under detention.

Talking about Jammu and Kashmir's govt's claim in the Supreme Court yesterday, Soz said, " I was not allowed to move this morning and this afternoon. This has been my fate since 5 August 2019. I did go out of this premises twice with the permission of the police that I have to consult my doctors in Delhi. And two times, I went to see my ailing sister but with police permission. I am not a free person, I am under detention, under house arrest since August 5, 2019."

This morning, Soz came before the media trying to scale the wall of his house and said that police is not letting him go out of the house.
