IAF on standby to evacuate stranded Indians from Ukraine 

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has said that it's ready to evacuate stranded Indians from Ukraine.

The IAF said, "Will undertake any task which is assigned by the govt of India, if airspace opens."

Meanwhile, MoS External Affairs V Muraleedharan said that, " MEA is taking steps to bring back about 18,000 Indians, including students, from Ukraine. As the air space in Ukraine is closed, alternative arrangements are being made for the evacuation of Indian nationals. The central government will ensure the safety of all Indians."
