In new CCTV footage, Umesh Pal seen scuffling with Asad after being shot

A new CCTV video of Umesh Pal, the key witness in the BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case, has emerged from Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj. In the video, Umesh Pal can be seen fighting Asad, who fires shots at him. Asad is seen attempting to shoot Umesh Pal in the head, while both are engaged in a physical scuffle inside a narrow lane. Shot multiple times, Umesh attempts to take shelter at a nearby house, the footage shows. A girl, as seen in the CCTV video, comes to the site upon hearing gunshots. She, however, returns and informs Umesh's family of the incident. The assailant, Asad, is seen tucking a pistol to his waist, while gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed's aide, Guddu Muslim, hurls a bomb at gunner Raghvendra. Umesh Pal and his police security guard Sandeep Nishad were shot dead outside his home in Prayagraj's Dhoomanganj on February 24.
