Several divers of Andaman and Nicobar Command on Friday performed underwater yoga in the Emerald Isles as part of the 10th International Yoga Day celebrations, highlighting several asanas and mudras. The United Nations proclaimed June 21 as the International Day of Yoga by a resolution in December 2014 recognising its universal appeal. The day aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practising yoga.
