Kolkata: Police raids private firm for alleged links to Nageshwar Rao's wife

The Kolkata Police is raiding the premises of a private firm for alleged links to the wife of former CBI interim director Nageshwar Rao.
The firm called Angela Mercantile Pvt Ltd is located in Central Kolkata. It has come to light that the Nageshwar Rao's wife had a history of transactions with the company. During the investigation, police found many irregularities in the matter.
It comes in the backdrop of CBI interrogating Kolkata Police chief Rajeev Kumar in Shillong. It is another step in gaining momentum in the investigation on the chit fund scams.
