Mortal remains of General Bipin Rawat, 12 others arrive in Delhi

The mortal remains of Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika and 11 other personnel arrived in Delhi from Sulur Air Force Station. The mortal remains were brought in C-130J Super Hercules which landed at Palam Airport.

Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat and 12 others on board the Indian Air Force helicopter died on Wednesday after it crashed near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu. The lone survivor, Group Captain Varun Singh, is critical and is undergoing treatment in Benagluru.
