A political crisis is unfolding in West Bengal as twenty-three Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha members of Parliament are in contact with a rebel faction of the party, according to sources.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day visit to Israel starting tomorrow, his first visit to the country since 2017. During the visit, Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu will hold bilateral talks focusing on various areas of cooperation including science, technology, innovation, defence and security. India is expected to push for transfer of technology for Israel's advanced drones, missiles and laser defence systems. Additionally, the agenda includes migration and mobility of Indian professionals, investment of Indian companies in Israel, and the India Middle East Economic Corridor project announced during India's G20 Summit in 2023. Modi will spend approximately 28 hours in Jerusalem, marking his second state visit to Israel as the second Indian Prime Minister to visit the country.
