Using Rs 2000 note a challenge for cab passengers in Delhi

Over 50 days after the government introduced the new Rs 2000 note as part of the demonetisation exercise, using the high-value note in the national capital is proving to be a challenge. An India Today reporter conducted a reality check to find out that passengers in the national capital would be better served to enter cabs with enough lower-denomination notes. Cab drivers say that getting change is a concern and in helpless situations, they ask passengers to transfer money via digital payments platform. One cab driver said that he has no qualms about accepting the Rs 2000 note but only if he has enough change on him.
