Video: A sneak peek into Noida's Jewar airport ahead of its opening

India Today TV's Amit Bhardwaj takes us inside the Noida International Airport in Jewar, the first phase of which will be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi today. The project that has been years in the making and is poised to reshape not just air travel, but the economic trajectory of Uttar Pradesh. Built at a cost of Rs 11,282 crore in its first phase, the airport is part of a much larger vision pegged at nearly Rs 29,560 crore. Spread across thousands of acres, the airport opens with a single runway and terminal capable of handling 1.2 crore passengers annually. In the future, Jewar airport will become Asia's biggest aviation hub with five runways.
