Vinesh Phogat's win a big slap on the face of Brij Bhushan: Bajrang Punia

Tokyo Games bronze medallist wrestler Bajrang Punia hailed Vinesh Phogat's performance in the Paris Games and said it's a big slap on the face of former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who has been accused by women wrestlers of sexually harassing and intimidating them.

Vinesh Phogat stormed into the women's kg category semi-finals after beating Ukraine's Oksana Livach 7-5 in the last-eight round.

Bajrang Punia, Vinesh and Sakshi Malik had led a long sit-in protest in Delhi early last year against alleged sexual harassment of women wrestlers by Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
