The Indian Air Force (IAF) on Tuesday confirmed on Twitter that the wreckage of the missing An-32 aircraft was spotted in Lipo locality of Arunachal Pradesh.
However, IAF did not mention the status of the 13 personnel who were travelling in the ill-fated jet in its statement.
Earlier this week, poor weather conditions had stalled the aerial search operations for the missing aircraft for two days while ground operations continued in the mountainous area.
