Year-Ender 2017: Worst-dressed Bollywood celebrity of the year

With the year coming to an end, we'd like to acknowledge something that we don't want to recur in 2018--Shilpa Shetty's poor fashion choices. From tacky sarees to ugly shoes, her choices have made her the worst-dressed celeb of 2017 for us; here's how...

Shilpa left us baffled, as she graced an event in a translucent, black cape thrown over a  black, tie-up, crop top, which she had teamed with a pair of black, dhoti pants. From the ugly, floral print on the cape to how mismatched it looked with the dhoti pants, the outfit was a total disaster.

Shilpa clearly forgot about exactly how blingy she'll look after putting on this Amit Aggarwal creation. The silver bodice of the whatsit should have been enough.

But add to it the stripes and silver work on the whatsit, the silver sandals, the silver rings and silver bracelets from the Silver Streak Store--and what we have is the literal personification of OTT.

The actress disappointed us with her choice of an extremely garish, magenta dress The asymmetric hemline with high side-slits robbed the dress of class, and the fur details emerging from the neckline looked absolutely tacky.

Adding insult to injury, the starlet threw over a long, black shrug that boasted of shoddy, cream-coloured, floral embroidery. The 3-D floral details on the shrug were gaudy, to say the least, and failed to save the sinking boat of Shilpa's look

The leheriya red-yellow saree that she wore for Karva Chauth had a tacky-like-no-tomorrow border in the colours of yellow, red and pink (a colour that had no business being there). The border also had flashy sequin work, which made matters worse.

The actress wore a pair of sombre-looking military separates by Agrima Batra. The outfit wasn't pleasing to the eye, as it lacked the smartness that generally comes with military clothing. From the unflattering fit of the shirt to the weird black details on it, there was absolutely nothing impressive about it.

Exhibiting a poor sartorial choice, Shilpa adorned an olive-green pant-suit that was far from being sharp--the one quality that pant suits are best known for. Deprived of class, the outfit was a concoction of power sleeves that had a boss-like look to them, but the impact of the sleeves was clearly ruined by the embellished cuffs which looked Boho. Even the pockets of the blazer boasted of Boho-looking embellishments that made no sense at all.
