Home is in Paris, where her French businessman husband lives, but Rabier is planning among other things to sell her skills as a designer in Indla. But for<b>Nargis Dutt</b>, One-time screen goddess and Rajya Sabha MP, weakened by  months of treatment and repeated operation for cancer at New York's Sloan-Kettenng Institute and the 28-hour flight on an Air-India jet, it was a quiet homecoming, with the prospect of a long and arduous recuperation stretching before her. The return to her Pall Hill bungalow was subdued, since Nargis had developed disturbing complications on the long homeward journey, despite special arrangements made by the airline for her comfort, and the presence of husband<b>Sunil</b>, son<b>Sunjay</b>, a doctor and a nurse. "Of course she's extremely happy to be home at last," said Sunil Dutt, "but she's not keeping too well, and the risk of complications is so high that we have to be on our guard constantly." Himself worn out with the constant commuting between Jaslok Hospital's medical laboratories, doctors' consulting rooms and home. Dutt sounded extremely weary. But hopeful nonetheless. "She is very very weak, and in no state to meet anybody." he said "But we're hoping that she'll recuperate completely now that she's back in her own home." Commenting on her continuing affair with India. the petite and genial Barr said: "In my last birth I must have been an Indian peasant or something." To her surprise, she finds that her books have a much wider audience in India than in England. Said Barr: "Unfortunately the British have become much too insular and the Empire has lost its meaning for the younger lot." She added: "Now the British seem mainly to be interested in pictorial histories of the Raj, if at all." India on the other hand still went for the written word. Gifted with a "classic tone and excellent range of voice" according to one critic, Ahuja, who has been performing in America, has finally realised her vocation. Married to a computer scientist; she studied at Marymount College in New York City, finished a four year stint on a fashion magazine, took a course in modelling ("just for the heck of it"), before deciding that singing was the most soul-satisfying of pleasures. She may not be another<b>Nazia Hassan</b>, but her rendering of<i>ghazals</i>and<i>geets</i>has taken her to perform with singer<b>Yesudas</b>and record a composition by Khayyam. Currently doing the rounds of musicians, songwriters and recording studios, Ahuja says she's taking no chances with her first disc. The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Iran's state media, has released what appears to be an undated video of the Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. In the video, the supreme leader can be seen teaching religious science to a bunch of pupils who are listening attentively. The IRIB said that the video of the newly-appointed Supreme Leader was published for the first time. Mojtaba took over as the Supreme Leader after his father Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was 86, was killed in an Israeli-American strike on February 28.
