PM Modi's performance rating drops to 58% from 62% in February: MOTN survey

The latest India Today Mood of the Nation survey reveals Prime Minister Modi's performance rating stands at 58%, a marginal dip from 62 per cent in February this year.  

As many as 34.2 per cent of responders called PM Modi's performance in his third term so far 'outstanding', while 23.8 per cent of them thought it was 'good'. However, in the previous MOTN poll in February, the percentage of people calling PM Modi's performance outstanding stood at 36.1 per cent, indicating a downward trend this time.

The India Today-Cvoter Mood of the Nation (MOTN) poll was conducted between July 1 and August 14, 2025, surveying 54,788 individuals across all Lok Sabha segments. An additional 1,52,038 interviews from CVoter's regular tracker data were also analysed. Thus, the opinion of a total of 2,06,826 respondents was considered for this MOTN report.
