Casting director Shanoo Sharma has gotten married. On Saturday, she announced the news by sharing photographs from her wedding ceremony on social media. However, she did not reveal the identity of her husband in the post.

The pictures showed Shanoo in a red outfit, while her husband was seen in an ivory ensemble. Along with the images, she shared that they had "made it official this morning" with their parents’ blessings and the love of those closest to them. She also said more wedding celebrations would follow soon.

In her caption, Shanoo wrote, "With God’s Grace, I found the greatest man to walk this Earth." She also thanked the photographer for capturing moments from the day.

Celebrities extend best wishes

Soon after she shared the post, several film personalities, including Ranveer Singh, Kriti Sanon, and Parineeti Chopra, congratulated the couple.

Kriti wrote, "Wowww!!! Congratulations", while Ranveer posted a string of heart emojis. Parineeti called it the "greatest news". Bhoomi Pednekar wrote that her heart was full and that the day had been special.

Shanoo has played a major role in shaping the careers of several actors in Hindi cinema. She introduced Ranveer in Band Baaja Baaraat, Bhumi in Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Vaani Kapoor in Shuddh Desi Romance. She also played a key role in casting Arjun Kapoor in Ishaqzaade.

While Anushka Sharma’s debut in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is often credited to Aditya Chopra, she was also part of the early talent choices under Shanoo Sharma’s watch. Most recently, she cast newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in Saiyaara, which went on to become a blockbuster.
