Aditya Dhar is very sorted: Gaurav Gera

"This man is so evolved, you know, he has clarity of thought, you will get to know that by listening to his talks. I remember, he was giving a speech somewhere or was at an event on stage. He spoke about the industry, and how at times you feel it's not for you, and then one moment changes everything. I felt like he was talking to me, directly. That's the beauty of this man," he shared.

Gera also called Aditya Dhar a "very sorted man" and said that both he and his wife, Yami Dhar, are beautiful people. "I feel intellectually they are very, very sorted people," he said.

Aditya Dhar, the chill director: Gaurav Gera

Talking about a young director like him helming two big blockbusters, Gaurav Gera said that it came easily to Aditya Dhar. He also recalled being surprised at how calm he was on set, even with so much happening.

"He did it all so easily. I remember once on set, when we were shooting the Lyari, and he was casually scrolling on his phone. I asked him if this is such a big film with such a huge cast and so much happening. Don't you get tense? He just smiled and said, 'I have a great team, I have nothing to worry'," the actor shared.

"I remember this because I have often seen many filmmakers doing chillam chilli (shouting). I have seen a lot of abusive directors. But here is a man who was so chilled because he trusts his team. He is always smiling and very soft-spoken. Even now, look at him, crediting all his teammates on social media," Gera added.

Ranveer Singh-led Dhurandhar film series has already crossed many records to become one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema.
