Kajal Aggarwal, Shreyas Talpade's The India Story release date announced
Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade's upcoming film The India Story has officially locked its theatrical release. The makers unveiled a new poster and shared that the film is set to release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Actors Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade are set to headline The India Story, and the makers have now officially announced the film’s release date. On Monday, April 27, the team revealed that the film is scheduled to hit theatres on July 24, 2026.
Sharing the announcement on Instagram, the makers unveiled a new poster and wrote, "The poison was never in the fields alone. It was in the silence. #TheIndiaStory, Slow Poison in Progress. Coming in cinemas on 24th July 2026. Releasing in 3 languages #Hindi #Tamil #Telugu (sic)."
Directed by Chettan DK, The India Story explores the consequences of chemical misuse in pesticide farming. The film aims to highlight the dangers caused by systemic failures and focuses on the need for stricter regulations to prevent such large-scale harm.
The project is co-produced by Sumit Bagade, Anita Jadhav, Vinayak Saidani, Kalpesh Shah, Devyani Khorate and Prem Joshi.
The film has been shot by Nishant Bhagwat, while the music has been composed by Mangesh Dhakde with lyrics written by Shakeel Azmi.
With its socially relevant subject and multilingual release, The India Story is gearing up for a theatrical release later this year.
