Pakistani Dhurandhar? Internet mocks Javed Sheikh's show Jahannum Ba'raasta Jannat

The Pakistani series, Jahannum Ba'raasta Jannat, has been dubbed ‘Pakistani Dhurandhar’ on social media. The show, apparently a spoof, references Operation Sindoor and RAW, and features actor Javed Sheikh as a RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) chief, and is being widely mocked online.

The show's content has gone viral and sparked a flurry of comments and jokes on the internet, as viewers shared their thoughts on the portrayal of Indian intelligence officials and their Hindi accent.

The term Pakistani Dhurandhar was used by X and Reddit users to humorously draw parallels with director Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar: The Revenge.

In the Reddit video, Sheikh's RAW official is seen having a discussion with his assistant about plans to destroy Pakistan.

He says, "Pakistan ka Diwalia bhale hi na nikle, lekin social media pe Pakistan ka Diwalia kar do (Even if Pakistan is not destroyed, destroy them on social media)." The assistant replies, "Wo to hum karte hi rehte hain (That we keep on doing)."

Sheikh's character later adds, "Bharat me abhi tak May 2 ko kuchh bada nahi hua (Nothing major has happened in India since May 2). Operation Sindoor ki rat mitane aur sarkar ka gussa thanda karne ke liye RAW ko bohot kuchh karna padega (To end the conversation around Operation Sindoor and to calm down the government's anger, RAW willl have to do a lot)."

While taking a jibe, a Reddit user wrote, "Ye ALT Balaji show jaisa kyu lag ra hai (Why is it looking like an ALT Balaji show) (sic)?" Another user wrote, "Lol, and Pakistanis were talking about "not doing enough research" about Pak in indian movies (sic)."

A Reddit user also commented, "Akhand Bharat map too in the background....Peak detailing (sic)." Reacting to the same video, an X user wrote, "Did you download the wrong Dhurandhar (sic)?"

Another Instagram clip from the same series shows the RAW agent played by Sheikh speaking about his plans against Pakistan. In the video, while speaking to somebody on the phone, his character says, "Akhand Bharat aur Hindutva ki vijay sirf aapka nahi, humara bhi mission hai sir (The dream of Akhand Bharat and Hindutva's victory is not just yours but our mission as well sir).

"Aur rahi Pakistan ki baat, don't worry, I will take care of it (As far as Pakistan is concerned, I will take care of it)," he adds. The video ends with his assistant saying, "Dushman ke khoon se Holi khelne ka waqt aa gaya hai (It is time to play Holi with enemy's blood). Aapki briefing chahiye (Your briefing will be needed).

While reacting to the video, an Instagram user wrote, "Urdu accent me Shudh Hindi with poor acting (Hindi in Urdu accent with poor acting) (sic)." Another user commented, "Even our agents don't speak so much Hindi (sic)."

The conversation about the portrayal of RAW and Pakistan has emerged ever since the release of Dhurandhar (2025) and Dhurandhar: The Revenge, featuring actors Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Manav Gohil and others in key roles.
