Aamir Khan turned emotional at the Mumbai musical event for Junaid Khan's upcoming film, Ek Din. The viral video drew attention as Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi were seen beside him during the performances.

Actor-producer Aamir Khan got teary-eyed at a musical event in Mumbai for his actor son Junaid Khan's upcoming film, Ek Din. Aamir, who was seated next to actor Sai Pallavi was visibly overwhelmed during the programme.
In a video that surfaced online, Aamir Khan appeared visibly emotional while seated at the event titled Ek Din Ki Mehfil. Sai Pallavi, who is making her Hindi debut opposite Junaid in Ek Din, was seen smiling and speaking to Aamir as he wiped tears from his eyes. Later, Junaid, sitting beside Sai, was also seen briefly talking to his father.
About Ek Din
Junaid portrays a shy and introverted lover in Ek Din, who is hesitant to express feelings for his office colleague, played by Sai Pallavi. In spite of working in the same office, he struggles to gather the confidence to speak to her. However, a twist unfolds in Japan when Sai's protagonist meets with an accident and suffers from Transient Global Amnesia (TGA), remembering only Junaid's character, who saved her life.
While this twist changes the course of the story, it also pushes the romance in a fresh direction. The deep bond and the "what-if" feelings between the two main characters create a unique story filled with hope and magic.
Ek Din reunites Aamir Khan and filmmaker Mansoor Khan as co-producers after many years. They previously worked together on classics like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. With this new romantic drama, the duo is returning to make love stories once again.
Ek Din is backed by Aamir Khan Productions and is co-produced by Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit. Sunil Pandey is making his directorial debut with this film. A long-time associate of Aamir, Sunil was previously an assistant director on films like Delhi Belly and Laal Singh Chaddha.
Ek Din is set for a theatrical release on May 1.
