Akshay recently caught the public’s eye at the Bhooth Bangla trailer launch, not only for the film but also for his unusual outfit. He appeared in deliberately ragged clothes. Speaking to the media, the actor explained that the look was "done by the ghosts," tying it to the film’s horror-comedy theme.
What to expect from Bhooth Bangla
The trailer for Bhooth Bangla blends humour and suspense, reflecting the film’s mix of scares and comedy. Directed by Priyadarshan, the project reunites him with Akshay Kumar after 14 years. The cast also features Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta, and Mithila Palkar.
Produced by Akshay Kumar along with Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor, and backed by Balaji Motion Pictures and Cape of Good Films, the film aims to revive the horror-comedy genre. Advance paid previews are set to begin on April 16 at 9 PM.
