Amitabh Bachchan sought to reassure fans amid concern over reports of a hospital visit, sharing a poem on his blog and sending his love to well-wishers. The concern followed multiple reports claiming that the veteran actor had been admitted to Nanavati Hospital for three days over the weekend due to stomach-related issues.

However, according to a source cited by PTI, Bachchan had gone to the hospital for a routine monthly check-up and returned home. Soon after, he posted a message on his blog, ending it with the words, “Love, prayers and more.”

After returning from the hospital, Bachchan shared a post on his blog that read, “Cheel jab howe shant to bhaiya, tote bolan suru karen ir bir fatte, kahan, chal hamau, pilave suru karen!!!! bajre di roti kha di, fu padiyon da, saag re munh mein dalan lagai jaise, bolan lage kaag re! (When the eagle falls silent, the parrots begin chirping loudly here and there, saying, ‘Come on, let’s start talking too!’ After eating millet bread and stuffing their mouths with greens, even the crows begin cawing away).”

The poem appeared to be metaphorical, suggesting that when someone powerful or respected stays quiet, others quickly begin talking or creating noise around them.

The actor signed off the post on a warm note, writing, “Love, prayers and more.”

As per PTI, a source said Bachchan had gone to the hospital for a regular medical examination. “He went in for a routine health checkup and came back home. He usually goes every month for a checkup,” the source said.

Bachchan was also seen attending the Sunday Darshan outside his Mumbai home, Jalsa, where he regularly meets and greets people gathered outside. He also shared pictures from the Sunday Darshan on his blog.

On the work front, Bachchan is awaiting the release of Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84. He will also be seen in the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.
