Anil Kapoor shared an emotional note as he welcomed his second grandchild, after daughter Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja announced the birth of their baby boy. The joyful news has left the Kapoor and Ahuja families elated as the couple embraces parenthood for the second time.
Taking to social media, Anil Kapoor expressed his happiness with a heartfelt message. He wrote, "And just like that... my heart has grown even bigger. Welcome to the world, my little one, you are already so deeply loved (sic)."
He further added, "Thank you, Sonam and Anand, Nana’s heart is full. Welcome to the madness, my baby-welcome to a lifetime of love (sic)."
He also mentioned their elder son Vayu and said he is sure the toddler will embrace his new role as a loving big brother.
Sonam also shared the happy update on Instagram, expressing gratitude as she announced the arrival of their son. She described the moment as a beautiful milestone for their growing family, adding that their elder child Vayu is excited to step into his new role.
The announcement quickly drew warm wishes from several celebrities, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rhea Kapoor, and Huma Qureshi.
Sonam and Anand, who got married in 2018, had revealed their second pregnancy in November 2025.
The couple had welcomed their first child, Vayu, in August 2022, and have now expanded their family with the arrival of their second son.
