Actor Gaurav Gera admits he was deeply in love once, revealing the reason he would want to avoid going back to such a situation once again.

Actor Gaurav Gera is currently receiving renewed recognition for his performance as Aalam in Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Gera has now spoken of his personal life, opening up about love, relationships, and emotional experiences that continue to stay with him.
In a conversation with Humans of Bombay, Gera spoke about a past relationship that left a deep emotional mark on him.
“There was a time I was very deeply in love. After that, I never wanted to go back to it. I don’t want to make anyone so important that they have the power to hurt me," he said.
Expanding on relationships in general, he said, “I feel women move on. Some people are players - it doesn’t affect them."
Gera said female attention is something he has been used to, from long before Dhurandhar. In a humorous tone, however, the 52-year-old actor added that he felt like an uncle these days.
