Pooja Bhatt revisited memories from her Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin era by posting old photos with Aamir Khan. She also teased an untold backstory linked to the impromptu shoot.
Pooja Bhatt recently took a trip down memory lane with Aamir Khan by sharing rare throwback photographs from an old photoshoot clicked by celebrated photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha. Along with the vintage pictures, Pooja also teased an untold story behind the impromptu shoot, saying she may reveal it someday.
Sharing the photographs on social media, Pooja wrote, “Someday I will share the story behind these impromptu photos shot on Gautam Rajadhyaksha’s balcony,in his sprawling home on Hughes road. But not yet.. Not just yet (sic)."
The pictures feature a young Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt twinning in white outfits while posing for the camera.
The duo had famously worked together in Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, the romantic drama directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The film also starred Anupam Kher and went on to become one of Bollywood’s most loved romantic films. In the movie, Aamir played journalist Raghu Jetley, while Pooja essayed the role of runaway heiress Pooja Dharamchand.
Pooja Bhatt made her acting debut with Daddy in 1989, directed by Mahesh Bhatt and co-starring Anupam Kher.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan made his debut as a lead actor with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak opposite Juhi Chawla.
On the work front, Pooja Bhatt was recently seen in projects like Bombay Begums and Bigg Boss OTT Season 2.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan has been supporting his son Junaid Khan, who recently stepped into Bollywood with Ek Din, also starring Sai Pallavi.
