Video: Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Sharbani share emotional hug at Durga Puja

Rani Mukerji and Kajol shared an emotional moment at the Mukerji family’s Durga Puja celebrations in Mumbai. The cousins shared an emotional hug with Sharbani Mukherji and they were soon joined by Tanishaa. 

The annual Puja is among the city’s oldest and most celebrated, bringing together family, friends and film personalities every year. This time, the occasion was tinged with emotion as it was filmmaker Ayan Mukerji’s first Puja without his father, Debu Mukerji, who died earlier this year. Debu Mukerji had long been one of the driving forces behind the family’s festive tradition. 

Sharbani, who was quite emotional at the puja, also lost her father in May this year. Her father, Rono Mukerji died in May.

After sharing a hug with her sisters, Kajol gave a warm hug to her brother, Ayan.
