Mukesh Khanna to Lucky Ali, celebs who fell prey to viral death hoaxes in the recent past

Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna is the latest victim of death hoaxes. The actor quashed the rumours in a video saying that he is “perfectly alright” and doesn't have Covid-19. He also criticised people who spread such false news.

Earlier this month, Lucky Ali had to issue a statement saying he is perfectly fine after rumours of his death went viral. The O Sanam singer also joked that he is "resting in peace at home".

Recently, there were rumours that BJP MP and veteran actress Kirron Kher had died. Rubbishing the hoax, her husband Anupam Kher assured everyone that she is fine and that she got her second dose of Covid-19 vaccine also.

Meenakshi Seshadri, who become one of Hindi film industry’s leading actresses in the 80s and 90s, also fell prey to death rumours. She posted a happy picture of herself on social media to put a rest to them. She is currently living in the US with her family.

Veteran actress Tabassum stated that she is "absolutely fine" after a death hoax about her went viral on the Internet in April 2021. The actress called the news fake and stated that she is "healthy and with her family."

In February this year, owing to some confusion because of the actor sharing his name with the person who actually died, some publications reported that Mohan Kapur had met with a fatal accident while saving a dog in Chandigarh. The actor then quashed the rumours on social media.
