Ashutosh Rana and Renuka Shahane renew vows on 25th wedding anniversary. Video

Actors Renuka Shahane and Ashutosh Rana marked their 25th wedding anniversary with a simple celebration in which they renewed their vows by exchanging flower garlands. Ashutosh shared a video of the moment on social media, showing the couple smiling through the ceremony as close friends and family stood beside them and cheered.

The joint Instagram post was captioned with a note in Hindi in which Ashutosh reflected on their journey together and described marriage as a divine bond. In the translated version of the note, he wrote about love, mutual respect and spiritual companionship, and also thanked his family, friends and spiritual guide for their blessings and support.

In the video shared on Monday, Renuka and Ashutosh were seen holding flower garlands in their hands. Renuka playfully teased Ashutosh as he bent down for her to place the garland around his neck before eventually giving in. The couple later folded their hands in gratitude and posed together for photographs.

Along with the video, Ashutosh wrote, "Time filled with joy passes quickly; one hardly realises when it slips away. It feels like only yesterday, but today marks 25 years of my marriage with my beloved Renuka ji. Based on the experiences of the past 25 years with the respected Renuka ji, I can say that marriage is not about changing each other’s personality, but about helping one another grow, evolve and refine themselves (sic)."

Sharing what he described as the secret to a happy married life, he added, "For a happy married life, it is not only love between husband and wife that is important, but also mutual respect. Marriage is a divine bond that helps two people support each other’s growth and liberation, while also teaching them that half the world belongs to you and the other half belongs to your partner (sic)."

"Just as the place where two rivers meet is considered sacred, in the same way, the householder stage of life is also like a sacred space. After marriage, two different souls become united forever in the presence of the sacred fire. Their sense of duality dissolves and transforms into oneness (sic)," the actor concluded.

Ashutosh concluded his note by expressing gratitude to his family, friends and spiritual guide for standing by the couple through their journey, as he and Renuka celebrated the milestone with a ceremony that echoed their wedding day.

Ashutosh featured in Yash Raj Films' 2025 action film War 2, in which he portrayed the character of Colonel Sunil Luthra.

The actor was also seen in the historical drama, Chhaava (2025), featuring Vicky Kaushal in the titular role.
